Mumbai: Ecole Intuit Lab, a renowned French based educational institute, has appointed Ms. Rita Ashara as a new Dean for its design, strategy and visual communication school based in Mumbai.
Ms. Rita, a creative enthusiast and a media scholar, has come to Ecole with a strong academic background and experience. Having successfully headed a Communication Design course at a nationally renowned design institute, Rita is an expert at managing several academic aspects while ensuring excellence, delivery and outcomes among the students. Apart from her academic achievements, Rita has actively contributed towards thought leadership, strategic partnerships with industry; and sales and marketing activities.
Intuit Lab which is a French educational institute of design, strategy and digital creation, was brought into existence by Clément Derock and Frederic Lalande in 2001 with the vision to build a culture, not just a school. A culture where creative minds get the freedom to innovate, create and become part of a design revolution. Intuit Lab strives to bridge the gap between theoretical, academic learning and practical, professional applications.
Rita’s first order of business will be to meet with faculty researchers and practitioners from an array of backgrounds and programs; finalize the curriculum; develop ideas for new academic programs; indulge in international projects and while exercising her excellent team leadership with strong interpersonal and communication skills, plan for the development activity needed to make the school great, all while implementing new tracks and specialty areas that will be housed in the school.

With more than 15 years’ of experience in the Interactive media design, International Project Management & Conceptualization in companies like Emerging Medias, Zapak.com and Learnet India; Rita brings a wealth of experience and great deal of expertise in various strands of design industry. She has extensively worked in the fields of Visual Media aesthetics, UX/UI Architecture, Wire framing and development creation of websites and thoroughly worked knowledge of Photoshop, Painter and Dreamweaver, design and development.
