MSK Budgam raises awareness on women centric schemes

Budgam: District Level Centre for Women Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) Budgam today organized an awareness programme on MSK Scheme and other women centric schemes at Chadoora.

On the occasion, the DLCW team informed that MSKS is a newly launched Scheme meant to provide ‘One Stop Convergent Support Services for Rural Women’ with the opportunities for Skill Development, Employment, Digital Literacy, Health and Nutrition.

The Women Welfare Officer, Afroza Bhat raised awareness among the participants about various Women Specific Schemes such as BBBP, WHL181, OSC, PMMVY, JSY, Ladli Beti, Poshan Abhiyan, Social Welfare Schemes and JKEDI.

The DLCW team also distributed posters related to MSK and OSC among the participants so that the people will get a clear knowledge how DLCW is working for the empowerment of women and their welfare

Among others, the programme was attended by CDPO, Gh. Ahmad Mir, Supervisors, AWW’s, ASHA workers, Adolescent girls and other participants.
