MSK Kishtwar organises awareness programme on Women Centric schemes at Cherhar, Sangrambhata

KISHTWAR : District level Centre For Women, Mahila Shakti Kendra today organised awareness programmes on Women Centric schemes here at Cherhar and Sangrambhata.

On the occasion, Women Welfare Officer Roohie Shamma, District Coordinators, Hina Jan and Shanu Rana briefed about the overall functioning and implementation of Schemes.

The MSK team informed the participants that the purpose of such camps is to impart basic awareness to the potential women beneficiaries at their doorsteps and ensure their enrolment for various beneficiary oriented, welfare and self employment schemes.

Stress was laid on livelihood generating schemes besides eligibility criteria; detailed registration process and procedure for availing benefits were explained thoroughly.

The programme was attended by Women Welfare Officer MSK Roohie Shamma, District Co-ordinators Hina Jan and Shanu Rana, Sarpanch, AWW’s AWHs besides other participants.
