MSK, OSC inaugurated at Samba

SAMBA : Mahila Shakti Kendra and One Stop Center (Sakhi) were inaugurated today here at Nandini Hills, Samba.
Mahila Shakti Kendra will provide an interface to women to approach the government to avail their entitlements under different schemes, besides facilitate awareness generation, training and capacity building to facilitate foothold of women empowerment schemes.
The One stop center will provide support to women affected by violence in private and public spaces, within the family, community and at the workplace and women facing physical, sexual, emotional, psychological and economic abuse. This center shall provide emergency assistance and facilitate access to various legal and other services viz. Police assistance, Medical assistance, psychological counseling, shelter and other help to women and girls under one roof to fight against any kind of violence.
