Mumbai University launches its first-ever online program in Marathi in partnership with upGrad

Mumbai: upGrad, India’s largest online higher education brand announces entry in vernacular higher education program by partnering with one of the oldest and premier Universities of India – Mumbai University thereby further strengthening its presence in the degree market. Mumbai University is launching its two Master of Arts in PR & Communications and Journalism, in online & blended learning format, powered by upGrad. The program content will be available in Hindi and Marathi along with English, a first time-ever for Mumbai university who hadn’t yet gone digital with a Marathi-language program.

What sets the programs apart from their offline counterpart is that both programs offer personalised learning tracks like Job Tracks, Self-Employment Track, and the Competitive Exam Track, that help learners understand their requirements and enrol for the learning track best suited for them, thus breaking the one-size-fits-all learning. The learning modules will include live doubt-solving sessions, discussion forum, career coaching, and a 15-hour per week program structure with live & recorded lectures delivered by the industry leaders & University faculty.

Both programs (MA in Journalism and MA in PR & Communications) is seeing high intent from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane regions of Maharashtra. There are special seats reserved for specially-abled learners. The first cohort is scheduled to commence on 31st December.
