MVD Kulgam releases digital Road Safety Calendar

Kulgam: As part of National Road Safety month, the Motor Vehicles Department, Kulgam today unveiled the Digital Road Safety Calendar at Mini Secretariat here.

The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, released the Digital Calendar in presence of dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that this is an eye-catching reminder of road rules for the road users and added that the Calendar features a ‘best of’ collection, bringing together some of the best road safety messages and various offences against traffic violation which in itself is a unique and innovative concept.

The Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Kulgam, Dr Mohammad Zubair said that the calendar is very informative and displays messages pertaining to road safety which will help us to spread the message of road safety to every household and can significantly change the behaviour of youth towards road usage.

ACR Kulgam, Mir Imtiyaz ul Aziz, ACD Kulgam, Mohd Imran Khan, DySP HQ, Kulgam, Tehsildar Kulgam and various Automobile dealers of the district were present on the occasion.
