MVD organises Awareness Camp at Kupwara, Handwara

Kupwara: As part of ongoing Road Safety Month, Motor Vehicles Department Kupwara today organized separate awareness programmes at Bus Stand Kupwara and Sumo Stand Handwara.

On the occasion, Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Kupwara, Mukhtar Ahmad and other experts provided thorough awareness about road safety rules to the drivers to minimize the road accidents.

He urged them to follow the traffic rules in letter and spirit, besides, always carry valid documents with the vehicle.

Meanwhile, pamphlets depicting messages about road safety rules were distributed among the participating commercial vehicle drivers.
