My School, My Pride: CEO Bandipora visits Education Zone Sumbal

BANDIPORA : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmed, th3 Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Abdul Rab Shad along with Zonal Education Officer Sumbal Reyaz Ahmad Sheikh today made an extensive tour of schools of Zone Sumbal under “My School, My Pride” initiative.

CEO visited BMS Sumbal, MS Gundi Nowgam, MS Checkpora, MS Abadpora and also made surprise visit to MS Asham.

Earlier, the CEO visited MS Tengpora of Zone Sumbal and took stock of infrastructure and academic activities of the schools.

While emphasizing the aim of “My School, My Pride” to teachers and students, he said “School is our second home”. It is the place where we lay the concrete foundation of knowledge, wisdom and good moral into the tender brains”. He added, that School is a place of real learning and it is at this place where we imbibe the qualities like punctuality, discipline, honesty, humility and other essential life lessons.

Talking about taking pride in schools, CEO said, “By Pride, we mean, Personal Responsibility In Delivering Excellence and this can only be achieved by taking our respective responsibilities, making good teacher-student relationship and by owning our students / assets of schools, so that heights are achieved.

The CEO directed the HOI’s to make sure that due care of cleanliness and Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF) is taken in schools. He asked the concerned ZEO to make frequent field visits and report the non-serious approach of schools, if any, so that they are put to task.
