My Town My Pride: Day-4 of Jan Abhiyan: Series of activities held at Kulgam

KULGAM: Under Shahri Jan Abhiyan, a prelude to ambitious ‘My Town My Pride’ programme, HODs and district level officers visited the Municipal council Kulgam and interacted with the general public and listened to their issues for redressal.

Besides, a series of activities including awareness cum training programmes, seminars, plantation drives, special sanitation drives, water sample testing, anti encroachments drives, plastic free Kulgam drives and other activities were carried out by various departments across all municipal areas of the district.

Birth and Death certificates, trade licenses, street vending licenses were also issued to the applicants.

Stalls and registration counters were also set up by various departments at Town hall Kulgam where people were apprised about various schemes and beneficiaries were also registered at these counters.

The programme was attended by Joint Director Planning (Evaluation) DES J&K Riyaz Ahmad Ramshoo, Assistant Director Tourism Rehmat Maqbool, EO Kulgam M. Irfan and other officers besides the general public.

President Municipal Council Kulgam, Muneeb Ahmad also attended the programme.
