MyGate records 138% growth in societies across Pune over 2020

Pune: MyGate, India’s largest community management solution provider, recorded triple-digit growth in Pune over 2020, continuing its success in the tech-savvy city with the addition of several prestigious societies including GK Palacio, Panchshil Towers, Rose Icon and Marvel Ganga Fria. Despite the pandemic, MyGate has added more than 1300 new societies as customers and 2 lakh new homes in 2020, and now has a total of 2300 Pune societies and 4 lakh homes on its platform.

Discussing the growth, Mr. Abhishek Kumar, COO & Co-Founder, MyGate, said, “Pune is a crucial market for us and we have been fortunate to enjoy strong support here since our launch in early 2018. The year 2020, however, has been a phenomenal success, given our product’s immense utility during the lockdown and the timely and innovative feature additions we made to help societies fight the pandemic.

“MyGate is now well represented across the city’s diverse landscape, not just in IT hubs like Hadapsar and Kharadi but also other areas like Moshi and Chikhali. The city has contributed to our overall business in 2020, and showed a whopping 200% growth in ERP adoption. It is clear that the city is showing mass acceptance of the product and we are confident of delivering the right product and on-ground service to leverage this consumer preference. We are, therefore, looking forward to reaching 7 lakh homes in 5000 societies in Pune by the end of this year.” added Mr. Kumar.

A technology first company, MyGate has brought about a paradigm shift in the concept of community management in Pune as well as other cities, with a series of innovations since their launch in 2016. The company’s eponymous app enhances security and convenience of gated community living, with a variety of features such as security management, vehicle management, COVID management and billing and accounting. Leave at Gate, Accounting & Payments and COVID Management features were the most used features among users in Pune. The company today serves more than 2.5 million homes across 18 cities in the country.
