Nanjing University and Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Strengthen Cooperation

On the afternoon of April 9, Tan Tieniu, Secretary of the CPC NJU Committee, met with Lu Weidong, Member of the Standing Committee of Nanjing Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area (NJNA), and his delegation at NJU Xianlin Campus. Delving into discussions, both parties exchanged insights on deepening their cooperation.

Tan Tieniu extended a warm welcome to Lu Weidong and his delegation. In its history of more than 120 years, NJU has made important contributions to higher education and scientific advancements of the country. As it stands at the cusp of a new era, NJU envisions fresh beginnings and progress. The developmental roadmap of NJNA provided a glimpse into the promising future for NJU’s Pukou Campus and the collaborative opportunities ahead. NJU will deepen cooperation with NJNA, and build the Pukou Campus into a hub for the integrated development of entrepreneurship and innovation, and a highland for talent cultivation.

Lu Weidong expressed his gratitude to NJU for its long-term support to NJNA. He provided an overview of NJNA’s current status. NJNA has consistently centered around fostering scientific and technological innovation, aligning closely with NJU’s objectives. Moving forward, NJNA will fully support NJU Pukou Campus’s development, and collaborate closely with NJU to promote science and technology development.
