Nanjing University Housing Committee’s First 2024 Meeting
On the morning of April 10, the Nanjing University Housing Management Committee held its first working meeting in 2024 at the Xianlin Campus. Zou Yajun, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice President and Director of the Housing Management Committee, attended the meeting, and Li Bin, assistant to the principal, also attended the meeting. Fang Wenhui, Director of the Asset Management Department, Deputy Director of the Housing Management Committee, and Director of the Housing Management Committee Office, presided over the meeting.
Zou Yajun pointed out that housing assets are one of the most important assets of the school. To implement the “Action for Progress” plan, make good use of real estate resources, and better adapt to the school’s high-quality development requirements, it must be implemented from the following three aspects. First, all member units of the Housing Management Committee must deeply understand the importance of housing management and explore a property management and resource allocation model that matches the high-quality development of higher education. The second is to establish a communication platform for school housing management through the housing management committee. All member units must fully collaborate, plan and promote together. The third is to further enhance the sense of urgency in promoting housing management, especially in improving management systems, and at the same time broaden ways to solve complex problems and overcome difficulties.
Li Bin said that housing asset management is an important component of school resource expansion, implementation of “tight living” requirements and improvement of management quality and efficiency. The Housing Management Committee should further play its coordinating role, strengthen research and study, and make the use of housing resources truly Become a support and guarantee for scientific research, talent training, cultural inheritance and innovation.
The meeting reviewed relevant issues such as the “Rules of Procedure of the Nanjing University Housing Management Committee” and discussed relevant work in detail and in depth.
As an organization authorized by the school to uniformly lead the school’s housing management work, the Housing Management Committee was officially established in October 2023. It aims to further clarify functions and responsibilities, strengthen communication and collaboration, improve the efficiency of the use of housing resources, and promote the preservation and appreciation of state-owned assets.
