Nanjing University: Secretary Tan Tianniu and Liu Kang, President of Jiangsu Branch of Xinhua News Agency, Discuss Enhancing Cooperation and Exchanges

On May 22, Liu Kang, President and Party Secretary of Jiangsu Branch of Xinhua News Agency, led a team to visit our school to investigate and discuss matters related to in-depth cooperation between school media. Tan Tianniu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, met with the visiting delegation.

This month is the 122nd anniversary of Nanjing University. The exchanges and discussions between the two sides on deepening cooperation at this time are of unique value and significance. Nanjing University has a long history and fruitful educational achievements. It has rich resources and a large number of stories to be developed and told. The suggestions for deepening cooperation put forward by the Jiangsu Branch of Xinhua News Agency meet the needs of Nanjing University and meet the wishes of both parties.

Tan Tianniu pointed out that he hopes that through the pragmatic cooperation between the two sides, Nanjing University’s national recognition, social reputation, international recognition, and accuracy of advice will be further enhanced, so that the landmark innovative achievements that serve the country’s major strategies can be promptly integrated into the think tank platform that provides important reference for the Party Central Committee’s governance.
