Nanjing University Welcomes Leaders of Xianlin University Town Management Committee for Discussions
On June 26, Wang Hui, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Xianlin University Town Management Committee, and Zhang Yi, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee, came to our school for a discussion. Zou Yajun, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of Nanjing University, attended and spoke.
Zou Yajun welcomed the Xianlin University Town Management Committee on behalf of the university. He said that Nanjing University has always adhered to the national strategy as its orientation, and has continuously innovated the system and mechanism in team building, talent introduction, talent training, etc., and has studied and formulated the “Resource Expansion and Aggregation Action Plan” to gather all kinds of resources in all directions and channels to expand the space for running schools. We look forward to taking this symposium as an opportunity to explore the sharing and use mechanism with the Xianlin University Town Management Committee, to improve the school-local investment and cooperation mechanism based on the long-term, and to work together for common development.
Wang Hui introduced the development plan of Xianlin University Town. He said that for a long time, the rapid development of Xianlin area could not be separated from the care and support of Nanjing University. In the future, the Management Committee will continue to provide services attentively, accurately formulate and implement relevant cooperation documents, and work hand in hand with Nanjing University to deepen, solidify, expand and strengthen the integration of the university and the local area.
The participants had in-depth exchanges and discussions on platform building, service support, and transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
Li Bin, assistant to the president of Nanjing University, relevant responsible persons from the school office, science and technology department, infrastructure department, logistics service group, and Nanjing University Science and Technology Park Management Co., Ltd., and relevant responsible persons from the Xianlin University Town Management Committee and Nanjing Xianlin University Town Science and Technology Park Co., Ltd. attended the symposium.
