Narmada Mahotsav to be organized every year in Amarkantak

Bhopal : The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath has announced that ‘Amarkantak- Narmada Mahotsav’ will be organized every year. He was addressing the inaugural function of Narmada Mahotsav-2020 in Amarkantak today.

The Chief Minister said that Maa Narmada is the life line of Madhya Pradesh. Maa Narmada is not a river only for Madhya Pradesh but it holds mythological, religious and spiritual importance too. The Narmada Mahotsav will be an occasion for the state to express gratitude towards Maa Narmada and to promote special cultural, spiritual and religious heritage of the state.

The Chief Minister also performed Puja-Archana of Maa Narmada at its place of origin in Amarkantak.
