NASA’s Psyche Mission Successfully Launched to Explore Precious Metal-Rich Asteroid

NASA has successfully launched the Psyche mission, which aims to explore an asteroid rich in gold, diamond and platinum.

The Psyche spacecraft lifted off atop a Falcon Heavy rocket on October 13 at 10:19 AM EDT (7.49 PM IST) from Pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida.
