Nasha Mukht Bharat; SWD organise awareness rally cum painting competition at Changa

Doda: The Social welfare department is organising series of events across the district on regular intervals to generate mass awareness about the drug menace and its affect on younger generation under the national program “Nasha Mukht Bharat” Abhiyan.

The entire program is being conducted under the overall guidance of DC Doda Vikas Sharma and is being monitored by DSWO Doda Zubair Ahmed Lone.

In this regard, an awareness rally was organised at Changa which started from Tawaie bridge and passed through bus stand Gowari, Jamia masjid Changa, CHC Changa and culminated at Gayasyia model school Changa.

As many as 350 students, besides members of civil society, police personnel also participated in the event.

Later, the students also participated in the painting competition and expressed their thoughts on the theme Nasha Mukht Bharat and drug abuse.

Chairman educational environmental and social sports and Cultural Society Bhalesa, Mohd Ayoub Zargar lecturer Botany was the chief guest, besides other officials were present in the program.
