Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan: Awareness Camp held at Bhaderwah

Bhaderwah: An awareness camp on ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ was today organized by Social Welfare Department in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority Bhaderwah, here in the premises of Model Secular High School.
A large number of students, Para Legal Volunteers, Panchayat Raj Institution members and local people participated in the programme.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhaderwah Rakesh Kumar was the Chief Guest, while Member Secretary DLSA ( Sub Judge ) Susheel Singh was the guest of honour and Principal Model Secular High School, Ghulam Nabi Mughal, was special guest. Advocate Mohammad Majid Malik was resource person.
The speakers threw light on the NDPS Act 1985 and explained Section 19, 24, 27 A and 37, which prohibits manufacturing sale, purchase, consumption, storage of narcotic drugs .
A debate competition was also organised on the occasion in which many students participated, Mementos and certificates of participation were also distributed among the participants.
