“National Ayush Awareness camp“ Organised by NSS Unit GDC Sidhra in collaboration with Health Centre Bain Bajalta

New Delhi: Under the banner of FIT INDIA- Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, NSS unit of GDC Sidhra and Health centre Bain Bajalta, in collaboration with Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicine, organised “National Ayush Awareness camp“on 1st of November 2021. Good health and fitness is not something which one can achieve entirely on his own, it depends on social, physical and emotional environment. Technology has contributed to a sedentary modern lifestyle, so it’s important to make lifestyle changes and invest some time in the health and fitness. Interacting with the NSS Volunteers, Dr. Farhat-Un Nisa Medical Officer, Health Center Bain Bajalta emphasized on how the situations like COVID-19 has negatively impacted the health and lifestyles of one and all not only physically but also mentally. Further, Dr. Mahak Mengi PTI GDC Sidhra motivated volunteers to take part in physical activities and make their lifestyle a healthy by remaining physically active in ground for the well being of physical as well as emotional health.
The camp was organised by Dr. Mehmood Ahmed, NSS PO of the college, coordinated by Prof. Deepa Kak, Dr. Satbir Kour, members NSS Unit; Dr. Mahak Mengi, PTI of the college and Dr. Farhat-Un Nisa, Medical Officer, Health Center Bain Bajalta.
