National conference on nuclear structure to start on March 2

Aligarh : The Department of Physics, Aligarh Muslim University is organizing a national conference on nuclear structure and nuclear reaction as part of the centenary celebrations of the university. The conference will be held during March 2-4, 2020.

Prof B P Singh, Chairman, department of Physics informed that the UGC-DRS-II programme funded conference will be attended by a number of delegates coming from all over India and will discuss various aspects of nuclear physics including nuclear astrophysics, Hadron physics and relativistic heavy ion collisions.

Prof Isar A Rizvi is the convener while Dr Shakeb Ahmad is secretary and Dr Raktim Abir, joint secretary of the conference.
