National Girl Child Day-2022 activities finalized in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR : To finalise the National Girl Child Day 2022 activities, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Kishori Lal Sharma, who is also the Nodal Officer for Beti Bachao Beto Padhao (BBBP), today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers.

The meeting was attended by Chief Education Officer Prahlad Bhagat; DYSSO Kharati Lal Sharma; CDPO Ifat Ara; Principal GHSS (Girls) Sarita Sharma; Principal GHSS (Boys) Azra Firdous, representative of CDPO Drabshalla besides the officials of Mahila Shakti Kendra Kishtwar.

The meeting chalked out the activity plan for the day proposing holding of Cycle Rally, Painting Completion, Debate and Talk show.

The concerned officers were directed to make all the arrangements for the National Girl Child Day celebration under the aegis of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan. Besides, it was decided to select first, second and third winners of each event so that they can be felicitated.

The meeting also decided to conduct the events at the Block/Tehsil headquarters and the CDPOs and Tehsildars were directed to make elaborate arrangements for the same.
