National Integration Youth Camp begins at Poonch

POONCH : Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today unfurled the National Flag as Chief Guest during a Flag Salutation Programme held here at Gujjar & Bakerwal Hostel as part of National Integration Youth Camp organised by National Youth Project.

The National Youth Project is conducting National Integration Youth Camp at Shri Krishan Chander Degree College, Poonch from June 25 to June 30, 2022 with the participation of 369 young men and women from across 30 states of India.

National Integration Youth camps were being organized by the National Youth Project in India for a long time. The objective of these camps is to build unity and promote peace and harmony among the people of different states and cultures of India.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Poonch said that these camps help build ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshta Bharat’ where there will be unity and peace among the people with different cultures and everyone becomes the part of solution, not the problem.

Camp Director, H.P Biswas & Dr. Anshu Banotra, camp coordinators were also present on the occasion.
