National Law University Delhi Hosted Hon’ble Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji for Deeksharambh: Student Induction Programme of the Inaugural Batch of the WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters/LL.M. in IP Law and Management on 16 Aug 2024.

NLU Delhi had the great privilege of hosting Hon’ble Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji, for the induction programme of the inaugural batch of the WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters/LL.M. in IP Law and Management on August 16, 2024. The day was truly special, starting with the plantation of a sapling by our esteemed guest, Hon’ble Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji. This act symbolized our commitment to growth and a sustainable future.

The Hon’ble Vice-President then inaugurated our beautiful new Amphitheatre, a place where students will gather for academic and cultural activities. This new space represents our dedication to providing the best environment for our students.

Our new students were warmly welcomed by our esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Ruhi Paul, and our dedicated faculty. We were also honored by the presence of Smt. Himani Pande, Additional Secretary, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Prof. Dr. V.K. Ahuja, Director, Indian Law Institute, who contributed to the significance of the occasion.

Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai delivered an inspiring welcome speech, setting a positive tone for the day. The highlight of the day was the motivating address by Hon’ble Vice-President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji. His words left everyone inspired and ready to embark on this exciting academic journey.
