National Technology Day: UI/UX demand increases in tier 2 and tier 3 cities

Delhi : ITLH, a fast-growing incubator that helps students gain proficiency in coding skills and knowledge through real-life practical experience, records an increase in demand for their UI/UX courses from students in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. The company onboarded more than 100% students in FY 2022 against FY 2021, registering around 162 students from across the country.

 

ITLH’s UI/UX course is focused on providing experiential learning and professional skill development for product designers, visual designers, digital marketers, entrepreneurs, product heads, graphic analytics, UI designers, UX designers, UX consultants, UX writers, creative designers, graphic analysts, motion designers, UX researchers, and product managers. The platform has enrolled around 55% of women for the course as compared to men at 45%.

Speaking on the increase in enrollment, Alex George,Chairman & Managing Director of ITLH, said, “ With continuous web and app development across industries, jobs for UI/UX professionals are increasing, and they are well paid. As per recent reports, the average salary for UX designers at the entry-level ranges from 4.5 to 7.5 LPA, and for experienced designers, it is around 8.5 LPA to 22 LPA. We’re witnessing a massive jump in student enrollment from diverse professions, including architects, software developers, graphic designers, digital marketing professionals, and product managers who want to enhance their skills. In fact, we’ve seen professionals like flight cabin crew switching to UX design.”
