NCC Cadets of 1 (T) Girls Battalion performed Yoga on the occasion of International Yoga Day 2023

 

Hyderabad  : *Har Angan Yog*. International Yoga Day was celebrated with much fervour and zeal by NCC Girl cadets of 1 Telangana Girls Battalion. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation by 1326 Girl cadets who performed yoga at their respective institutions under the aegis of 1 Telangana girls Battalion. Out of which, 250 cadets, 15 personal instructional staff, 05 Associate NCC Officers and 02 Girls Cadet Instructors of 1 Telangana Girls Battalion celebrated international yoga day at the unit premises at RK Puram amidst the natural environment.

The commanding officer of the unit along with his team organised the complete program. This year the theme of Yoga Day is – ‘Yoga For Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ i.e. yoga for the welfare of all in the form of ‘One World-One Family’. Complete yoga protocol as mandated for the yaga day was carried out.Participants were led through various yoga postures and breathing exercises, enabling them to experience the positive effects of yoga on their physical and mental well-being. Yogasanas were performed under the instructions of Shri Jamman Reddy of AYUSH, Namaste Yoga.

Participants were able to immerse themselves in the serene surroundings and discover the harmony that yoga brings to their lives. The commanding officer Lt col Pradeep Kumar has addressed the gathering with his inspiring words to adapt yoga in life to have a sound physical and mental health.
