NCC Cadets of GCW Udhampur visit 14 EME Paper Gallery; learn to make paper bags

UDHAMPUR : In continuation to the Puneet Sagar Abhiyaan, the NCC cadets of 2 J&K NCC girls Battalion Udhampur today visited 14 EME Paper Gallery Factory to learn about making Paper bags.

The visit was initiated to spread the message of using paper bags instead of plastic and to commemorate Earth-Day. The cadets had brought old clothes and paper from home to get hands on practice and learn the procedure of making paper bags.

The College Principal, Prof. Minu Mahajan encouraged the NCC Cadets ‘Samaritans’ present at the gathering to actively participate in keeping their surroundings and the ecosystem clean and beautiful.

The 2 J&K girls Battalion, Jammu appreciated the ANO and the cadets for their interest and effort towards making the program, and Puneet Sagar Abhiyan a grand success. The entire event was coordinated by Lt(Dr) Kamal Deep Kaur, Associate NCC Officer of the College.
