NCC Fest based on the G-20 theme was organised at Sharda University
Welcoming the cadets, Dr. Sibaram Khara, Vice Chancellor, Sharda University, said, “Countries that are economically strong and developed are part of the G-20. India has gained the presidency of the G-20. As a country that is steadfastly committed to multilateralism and democracy, India’s G20 presidency would mark a turning point in its history. India wants to play a significant role in finding workable solutions at the international level to ensure everyone’s well-being and to truly embody the idea that “the world is one family.”
Dr. Parmanand, dean of academics at Sharda University, stated, “India has a voice on the international platform for debating policy matters pertaining to the global economy because it is one of the 20 nations represented in the G20. India now has a chance to express its viewpoints and thoughts on important economic issues and contribute to forming international economic policies. Our university is the selected university for the G-20, and it seeks ideas from students and brings forth a holistic plan for India’s G20 presidency.”
Subedar Gulzar was also present and represented the 31 UP Girls Battalion. Dr Suman lata Dhar , Associate dean students welfare , Sharda University and Dr Shanti Narayan, Assistant dean student welfare, Sharda University also motivated the cadets. Dr. Parul Saxena and Dr. Pallavi Gupta were the judges for the painting competition.
At the end of the event, prize distribution took place in the presence of Dr. B.K. Singh, Lieutenant Yashodhara Raj, Associate NCC Officer, Sharda University, Mr. Vikarat Chaudhary, Dr. Kapil, Mr. Puneet, and Mrs. Rashmi.
