Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch organises Plantation and Swachhta Pakhwada (Fortnight) at Block Lassana

POONCH: Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, organised Swachhata Pakhwada (Fortnight) in which Youth Volunteers and Youth Clubs of Block Lassana carried out Plantation Drive and Cleanliness Drives at Village Kalai, Block Lassana.

Balqees Mumtaz, National Youth Volunteer, Shafiq Ahmed, President, IHDF, Mohd Maqsood, President, Choudhary Super Star Youth Club voluntarily took part.

Balqees Mumtaz and Mohammad Fareed, National Youth Volunteers Block Lassana efficiently managed the program. Waheed Ahmed, Panch Ward No. 9 and Khurshid Ahmed, Panch, Ward No 10, Kalai were also present in the program. They highlighted the importance of Swachhata in our Daily life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi about Swachata and his role in the Freedom Struggle. A large number of saplings were planted by the youth.

The program was held under the overall supervision of Nitin Hangloo, District Youth Officer, NYK Poonch.
