Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda inaugurates building affiliated with Tribhuvan University
Prime Minister of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda inaugurated the building affiliated with Tribhuvan University which was built under the High Impact Community Development Programme funded by the Government of India.
The campus runs several management and professional courses at present. The two-storeyed campus building with 26 rooms, including rooms for a library, meeting hall, administration, accounts and provision for electricity and sanitation is built at the cost of Nepali 4.19 Crore rupees. The Embassy of India at Kathmandu handed over the building in an inauguration ceremony to the DDC of Dhading District. This project is expected to strengthen the education system in the province. The campus has an enrolment of 236 students of whom 85 percent are girls of underprivileged groups like Chepang and Tamang, Janjati and Dalit communities. The Government of India also gifted a school bus to the college. The newly inaugurated Nepal Bharat Maitri Bhavan will strengthen the friendship between the two neighbours.
