The Department of Accounting and Finance 50% fee scholarships for International MSc Students
The Department of Accounting and Finance, Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow is delighted to offer a number of partial 50% fee scholarships to International MSc Students who hold offers for one of the following MSc programmes: Finance, International Accounting and Finance, International Banking and Finance, Investment and Finance, Financial Technology or Finance and Management.
The Scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in their Scholarship application excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained); any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.
Number of scholarships -Up to 10
Value – 50% of International MSc Tuition Fee (£12,150)
Deadline – 24 August 2020
Eligibility –
The closing date is 24 August 2020 and applications to be considered for these scholarships should be submitted by then. Successful candidates will be notified shortly thereafter.
Candidates must be self-funded (ie. not in receipt of any funding from any other scholarships, employer sponsorship, etc) and already hold an offer of a place on one of the aforementioned Accounting and Finance MSc programmes for entry in September 2020.
Candidates interested in applying should provide a maximum 1000 word statement demonstrating, through their ideas, experience and future career plans (including their reasoning for joining their chosen MSc programme) and why they should be awarded this scholarship. Candidates’ overall quality of their programme application will also be considered.
