New Chairman appointed in the Department of Radio-diagnosis

ALIGARH : Prof Mohammad Khalid, Department of Radio-diagnosis, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University has been appointed Chairman of his department for a period of three years with effect from June 1, 2024.

Prof Khalid joined the department as a Clinical Registrar in August 1991 and became a lecturer in November 1993. He has been engaged in teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and published more than 60 papers in the journals of national and international repute.

He has received Dr B R Khanna award for the best paper and served as the President of the Indian Radiological Imaging Association UP Chapter and as its Honorary Secretary several times. He has served as the chairman of the department earlier as well.

He has special interest in body imaging with expertise in Ultrasound and CT Scan.
