New Master’s Programs
In 2021, the Institute of Economics and Law opened new master’s programs: “Digital Economy and Financial Analytics”, “State and Municipal Finance”, “Accounting and Financial Management”, “Administrative and Financial Law”.
NEW MASTER’S PROGRAM “Digital Economy and Financial Analytics”
Head of the program – Kolesov Alexander Semenovich, Doctor of Economics, prof. The form of study is full-time. Financing is paid. The term of study is 2 years. Main special disciplines: Financial markets, Investment analysis, Financial risk management, Financial asset management, etc. Graduates of the program can apply for positions in financial services of enterprises of different sectors of the economy, be specialists in consulting and insurance companies, commercial banks, excel in research activities and continue his studies at the postgraduate course of PetrSU.
NEW MASTER’S PROGRAM “State and Municipal Finance”
Program Manager – Tatiana Gennadievna Kadnikova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor. The form of study is part – time. Financing is paid. The term of study is 2.5 years. Main special disciplines: Topical issues of finance, Modern monetary system, Taxes and the tax system of the Russian Federation, Development of the state budgetary structure, Financial mechanism of public procurement. Graduates of the program can carry out professional activities in the financial services of state and municipal authorities, in state and municipal institutions, succeed in research activities and continue their studies in postgraduate studies at PetrSU.
NEW MASTER’S PROGRAM “Accounting and Financial Management”
Program Manager – Elena Igorevna Kostina, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor. The form of study is part – time. Financing is paid. The term of study is 2.5 years. Major special disciplines: Conceptual Foundations of Accounting, Economic Analysis in Management Decision Making, Taxes and Tax Planning, Corporate Finance II, Financial Management II. Graduates of the program can work, including in management positions, in accounting and financial services of organizations of various sectors of the economy, in consulting firms, succeed in research activities and continue their studies in postgraduate studies at PetrSU.
NEW MASTER’S PROGRAM “Administrative and Financial Law”
Program Manager – Sergey Chernov, Doctor of Law, Professor. The form of study is part – time. Financing is paid. The term of study is 2 years.The main special disciplines: Actual problems of administrative law and process, Actual problems of financial law, Rule-making in the field of administrative and financial law, Administrative and legal problems of the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, Public administration in executive authorities, Administrative and legal regulation of public procurement, Expertise in the field antitrust laws. Graduates of the program can apply for higher positions in the legal services of enterprises and corporations, banks, legislative, executive and judicial authorities, in law enforcement agencies, build a successful career, excel in research activities and continue their studies in the postgraduate course of PetrSU.
Acceptance of documents starts from June 18 and will end on July 30, 2021. Entrance tests will be held in economics (written testing in remote form) – August 3, 2021 at 14:00; in jurisprudence (portfolio review) – August 2. Acceptance of applications for consent to enrollment is carried out until 18:00 on August 9. Enrollment – from August 10, 2021
