New Society of Automotive Engineers Collegiate Club office bearers take charge

 

Aligarh : Arquam Hashim Siddiquie was appointed as the Chairperson of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Collegiate Club, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

He received the charge from the former chairperson, Yogesh Kumar in the installation ceremony held recently at the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

The team of other office bearers comprises Anant Agarwal (Vice Chairperson), Syed Mohammad Barik (Treasurer), Syed Taimoor Ali (Secretary), Shadab Khan (Secretary), Tushar Gupta (Membership and Recruitment Coordinator), Mohammad Haris (Social Media and Event Coordinator), Kshitij Gupta (Social Media and Event Coordinator), Inayat Rasool (Public and Alumni Relations Coordinator), Mohd Ahad (Public and Alumni Relations Coordinator), Haisam Khurshid (Web Developer) and Uzma Masood (Web Developer).

Presiding over the programme, Prof M Muzammil (Chairman, Department of Mechanical Engineering) extended greetings to the new office bearers and encouraged them to work in the emerging, e-mobility field.

Dr Syed Fahad Anwer (Faculty Advisor, SAE ZHCET) explained how the club provides the aspiring engineers with opportunities to explore the depths of the mobility sector and its related fields.

Nafees Ahmad (faculty advisor of the Club) delivered the welcome address.

Former chair holders of the club including Yogesh Kumar (Former Chairperson), Syed Meesum Raza Zaidi (Former Treasurer), Mohd Aatif Qazi, Mohd Suboor Aziz shared experiences with the new members in an interactive session.
