Newly established Instrumentation Facility of the Department of Botany, AMU launched by vc
Aligarh: Newly established Instrumentation Facility of the Department of Botany, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) was launched by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor.
The facility houses valuable instruments, routinely used for teaching and training research scholars and post-graduate students.
“The instruments in the facility have been acquired through DST-FIST and UGC-SAP-DRS funds and generous financial allocation by the Vice Chancellor,” said Prof Nafees Ahmad Khan, Chairman, Department of Botany.
After the inaugural, Vice Chancellor, Prof Mansoor with Prof Wasim Ahmad (Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences) and other faculty members also visited the renovated laboratory, office, museum, seminar library, conference room and lecture theatres.
