NHPC conducts plantation drive at Chenab Bhawan premises Kishtwar

KISHTWAR: A tree plantation program was organized in the Chenab Bhawan Guest House of Dulhasti Power Station premises this morning.

Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC A.K. Singh, who is on a three day visit to Kishtwar inaugurated the drive by planting a sampling.

A.K. Choudhary, Managing Director, Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt. Limited (CVPPPL) and Rajan Kumar, Regional Head, NHPC Regional Office Jammu were also accompanying him.

The CMD also met Farooq Khan, Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir at the Chenab Bhawan Guest House and discussed various issues related to the development of hydro projects in Kishtwar district. Ashok Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar was also present. Thereafter, the CISF personnel presented guard of honor to the A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC.

On this occasion, Dr. Nisha Sharma, General Manager (Medical Services), R.N. Sharma, General Manager (Civil), Surendra Kumar Mishra, General Manager (Electrical) and other senior officers of NHPC Dulhasti Power Station and CVPPL were also present.
