The last year saw a lot of disruption owing to COVID. Schools and universities were one of the many sectors that were widely hit. It not only had an effect on the overall mental state of the students, but also on the emotional and physical well-being of teachers and educators, many of whom had no ideas how to effectively use online resources to make the best out of the situation.

Dr. K. Kasturirangan, former chief of ISRO, current Chairperson of NIIT University and the author of NEP said, “The National Education Policy focuses on how flexibility of curriculum and multi-disciplinary approach can help in building a better learning process for students, while amplifying the role of educators.”

The event is likely to be an engaging conversation between senior educationists deliberating on how the new normal has impacted the teaching learning methodologies and how the educators may have turned the many challenges faced by them into opportunities. From implementing innovative ways for academic continuity to being a true example of the NEP outcomes, NU has been at the forefront of it all. The panel will talk about innovative ideas, how the NEP has come into play, and what the future of education will look like going forward.
