Nineteen Geology students of AMU qualify preliminary examination of GSI

Aligarh : Nineteen students of the Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University have qualified the preliminary examination of Geological Survey of India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The students, who have qualified the preliminary examination for various positions, include two girl students, Fayeza Batool and Almas Afreen.

The other students are Ramish Mehdi, Rahil Usmani, Faraz Ahmad, Mohammad Zaid, Irfan Ali, Iman Hasan, Mohammad Aatif Raza, Mohammad Quazim Raza, Mohammad Abid Khan, Masarul Islam, Khyati Gupta, Faizan Ahmad Khan, Mohammad Nooruzzama, Abdul Samad Khan, Tariq Ejaz, Mohammad Imran and Sadam Rahim.

Professor A H M Ahmad, Chairman, department of Geology has congratulated these students on their success hoping they will be selected in final examination as well.
