NMIMS School of Business Management opens registration for its flagship MBA program at Mumbai campus
Mumbai : SVKM’s NMIMS School of Business Management (SBM), a Deemed-to-be University with a legacy of over four decades in academic excellence, has kick-started registration of its flagship program in Masters in Business Administration for the academic year 2023-25.
Registration for the 2-year full-time MBA program is open till October 2022. Thousands of students compete to secure admission to SBM through a highly challenging selection process.
Divided into six trimesters, the program includes courses in Finance, Information Systems, Managerial Communication, Marketing, Operations & Decision Sciences. The curriculum is further enriched by an array of more than a hundred electives from diverse domains in the second year.

Dr. Madhavi Gokhale, Prog Chairperson of MBA, said, “An MBA degree allows for a greater opportunity to gain a higher managerial position at an organisation with better pay as compared with someone who only has industry experience. Moreover, an MBA has higher value than a bachelor’s degree as is evident from recent industry research reflected in a Graduate Management Admission Council report published in 2021. It states that MBA graduates today are likely to earn $3 million more in his or her lifetime than someone holding only a bachelor’s degree. However, only a degree will not suffice if the student has not been prepared with relevant skills required by the industry today. The reason why the program at SBM is highly in demand is because we have a proven track record of grooming students with decision-making abilities with a socially sensitive approach, to lead with broad strategic vision, and motivating them to be capable of assuming higher corporate responsibilities”.
The MBA program content is prudently designed in association with industry players to ensure relevancy and needs of business today. Being located in Mumbai, the largest financial hub for business in the country, SBM has a large pool of industry representatives who engage with students. Many national and multinational corporates visit the campus to pick managerial talent from the MBA batch every year as part of our on-campus recruitment program. Eligibility Criteria:
NMAT scores are compulsory to qualify for the program. Besides, a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks is also mandatory.
