Nomination Deadline Extended for India’s premier engineering award: IET India Awards 2023
Bengaluru – The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) India, has announced an extension of the nomination deadline for its prestigious IET India Awards 2023, which acknowledges exemplary strides and breakthrough innovations in the realm of engineering and technology. The awards, which encompass various categories including Mobility, Work-tech, and future technologies, aim to shine a spotlight on remarkable engineers and cutting-edge technology innovation across India’s engineering landscape.
Initially scheduled to close on August 18, 2023, the nominations window has been extended till 22nd September to provide ample time for individuals, teams, organizations, and institutions to put forth their remarkable contributions to the field of engineering and technology. The awards look to honor exceptional engineers and visionary teams who are pushing the boundaries of human ingenuity to address some of society’s most pressing challenges.
The IET India Awards 2023 feature a diverse array of categories open for nominations, including Youth Engineering Icon of the Year, Young Woman Engineer Award, Volunteering Award, Future Tech Award, Mobility Award, and Future of Work Award. These categories recognize individuals, teams, and organizations from various sectors such as industry, academia, non-profit organizations, and government entities.
The IET India Awards were instituted in 2021, commemorating 150 years of the IET’s legacy. In its previous editions, the awards have celebrated outstanding individuals and organizations who have brought about transformative changes through their technical expertise and inventive solutions. The winners have included distinguished figures such as Nandan Nilekani, Praneet Dutta, Tarun Mehta, Altigreen Propulsion, TeamLease, and Airmeet Networks Pvt Ltd, among others.
