The team attended a training session on 14 April in preparation for the upcoming South African Sports Aerobics Fitness Federation (SASSAF) championships.

Building on this success, the Aerobics club qualified to represent the university at the SASAFF (Gauteng province – GSAFF) Championships that took place on 11 May.

Representing the North West region under the North West Sports Aerobics Fitness Federation (NWSAFF), seven club members, along with their coach and assistant coach, competed in the Federation of International Sport Aerobics and Fitness (FISAF) International Step Team and FISAF Novice Individual (Men) categories.

The athletes delivered outstanding performances, each securing the necessary 6,5 points to qualify for the National Championships in Cape Town on 14 June. All team members were awarded gold medals for their exceptional efforts.

The team expresses their gratitude for the unwavering support from the sports department, which motivates them to continue striving for excellence in their competitions. This continuous support has been crucial in their journey of improvement and success.
