Novel Coronavirus is natural in origin, WHO reiterates

New Delhi: The World Health Organisation has said that the novel coronavirus originated in nature.

Speaking on a TV show, WHO COVID-19 Technical Lead Maria Van Ker-khove said that compared to other coronavirus genetic sequences available, COVID-19 “is of a natural origin”, coming from bats.
