Nowshera Forest Division conducts series of drives under the theme “One Beat Guard One Village Programme”
RAJOURI : Sunderbani Forest Range conducted a plantation drive under “One beat guard one village” programe in Dharamsal village in which Sarpanch Dharamsal Rattan Lal Padha, Naib Sarpanch Pawan Kumar, Panch Shabir Ahmed and locals actively participated.
Respective members of Biodiversity management committee were also present on the occasion
Sarpanch Dharamsal stressed for conducting similar plantation drives in other places of the area. The PRI members of the respective panchayat lauded the efforts of the Forest Department in maintaining the green cover of the area.
Range Officer Sunderbani, Rakesh Verma highlighted the aim and objectives of the theme and thanked Sarpanch and PRI members, members of Biodiversity Management Committee for their participation in the drive. B.O Dharamsal Ved Parkash along with other staff successfully conducted the plantation drive.
Similar drive under “One beat guard one village” programe was conducted at Palwal village in which Sarpanch Upper Kangri Kamlesh Kumari, Panch Bhim Singh and locals participated. Respective members of Biodiversity management committee were also present during the plantation drive. The PRI members of the respective panchayat appreciated the efforts of Forest Department for organising the event in the area.
Sarpanch Upper Kangri emphasized for organising such drives in other areas of the panchyat. B.O Kangri Yash Paul along with other staff successfully conducted the plantation drive.
The whole drives were conducted in the close supervision of B Mohan Dass, Conservator of Forests West Circle Rajouri, Suresh Manda, Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera and Rakesh Verma Range Officer Sunderbani.
