NSS Unit GZMD Govt Degree College organises awareness programme

REASI : NSS Unit of General Zorawar Singh Memorial Government Degree College, Reasi visited Government Primary School located in College’s adopted Village Seela.

NSS Programme Officer, Prof. Ajay Kumar led the Volunteers and organized an Awareness Lecture-cum-Interaction Programme for the Students under the Community Outreach Scheme of NSS.

The Volunteers highlighted the importance of Personal Hygiene and Cleanliness in our lives.

Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster of the School, Vijay Kumar appreciated NSS volunteers for organizing the thought provoking awareness program for the village children and imbibing in them a sense of National Service and Oneness. He added that such interactions with small kids will go a long way to motivate them for higher studies.

The Volunteers also distributed biscuits among the students on the occasion. Further, they also dug holes for the trees to be planted on 26th July, 2023 under Meri Mati Mere Desh Programme to mark Kargil Vijay Diwas.
