AMU: Nukkad Natak to celebrate World Oral Health Day

Aligarh : The World Dental Federation (FDI) launches a campaign for World Oral Health Day every year with a specific theme. In commemoration of the theme for 2023 ‘Be Proud of Your Mouth.’ Students of B.Sc. (Nursing) 1st and 2nd semester presented Nukkad- Natak (Street Play) to raise the awareness about oral health among the patients, students and staff of the Nursing College, JNMCH, AMU recently. The objective of the awareness programme was focussed; to make quality oral health services accessible to people living in rural areas and to broaden the institutional and human resource capabilities of local government, health centres, communities, men and women involved in oral health.

 

At the end of the session Prof (Dr) Farah Azmi Principal Nursing College JN Medical College and Hospital appreciated the performance of nursing students in creating the awareness and staff of nursing in organising the programme.

 

Madeeha , Aleena Khan , Azra , Hina , Jyoti , Saima , Shalu , Bushra , Charlie , Aron , Saniya , Saif and fabiha are the students of B.Sc. Nursing who have been presented the Nukkad Natak.
