Number of Corona active cases continuously declining in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal : The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there is continuous improvement in Corona situation in the state. The pace of the infection is slowing down continuously and patients in large number are recovering and returning their homes in the state. He informed that today 50 patients are found positive in the state and 174 patients returned to their home after the recovery. As a consequences, the number of Corona active cases has declined by 129 in the state. As of May 3, the number of active cases in the state becomes 1889. Shri Chouhan was reviewing the status of Corona in the state and its related arrangements at Mantralaya today. He further informed that a plan of total 31 trains to bring back the labourers from various other states has been sent to the Ministry of Railways. Our labourers will soon return to the state by trains, he added.

Dispatch special team of Doctors to Ujjain today itself

During the review of Ujjain district, it was found that mortality rate of Corona patients is more in the district. Taking serious note of this situation, Shri Chouhan directed that a special team of Doctors should be dispatched to Ujjain today itself to inspect the arrangements there. He mentioned that we have to save every life under any condition.

Strict surveillance in infected areas

The Chief Minister said that have to transform red zone into orange zone and orange zone into green zone of the state. Strict surveillance should be ensured in the infected areas. He instructed that special precautions should be taken in Burhanpur district as it is a densely populated district. He also asked to ensure precautions in Dhar district too. The Collector of Dhar has informed that out of the 55 cases in the district, 11 patients have recovered and discharged and 26 patients will be discharged within a day or two. The district will soon come under the orange zone.

2600 tests in 14 Labs

The Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman has informed that tests in sufficient number numbers i.e. 2600 tests are being conducted daily in 14 labs. Today on May 3, 50 cases have been found positive out of the total 2608 cases in the state. 23 out of 515 in Indore, 6 out of 1029 tests in Bhopal, 9 out of 200 tests in Ujjain and 4 out of 203 tests have been found positive, he added.

No Fare should be charged from any labourer

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that he has been informed that the fare has been charged in Nasik from some labourers returning from there. It should be ensured that no fare should be charged from any labour. The Additional Chief Secretary Shri I.C.P. Keshri has informed that under the plan of 31 trains sent to the Ministry of Railways for repatriating our labourers from other states, 22 trains from Maharashtra, 2 from Gujarat one from Delhi 2 from Goa and 4 from other states will ferry labourers to Madhya Pradesh.

Toll free number 0755-2411180 to bring labourers from outside

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that the toll-free number 0755-2411180 of 100 number line is working for bringing labourers trapped outside Madhya Pradesh to the state. Necessary information and assistance can be obtained by calling on it. Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Dubey informed that about 1300 calls are being received on this number per minute. Therefore, the number of lines is being increased soon. The Chief Minister directed to promote this toll free number in every state.

Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Shri Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammed Suleman were present in the meeting.
