NYK organises Yuva Utsav in GDC Udhampur
Panch Pran reflects mood and pulse of youth of India: Juhi
UDHAMPUR: Vice Chairperson District Development Council, Udhampur, Juhi Manhas Pathania today underscored the need for appreciating and putting into practice the true value of ‘Panch Pran’ as delineated by Prime Minister in his address on 15th of August,2022.
She was addressing a grand function organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra in the precincts of Govt. Degree College, Udhampur. It is in line with the declared precepts of this golden principle that J&K is marching towards new heights in fields including sports and youth development, she said.
She said the Yuva Ustav is being celebrated to mark the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in the spirit of Yuva Shakti. “It aims to spread the ideals and values of India’s Freedom Struggle and to generate appreciation about the diverse spiritual and cultural heritage of the country among the masses,” she added. She said these Youth festivals offer a platform to the young achievers and talent holders to showcase their talent, hone their skills and sensitise them to achieve great heights in the times to come. The property of India remains that India has a greater number of younger people which means it has greater number of prospects and scope for economic expansion and human resource development. She asked the youth to get inspired by the charismatic leader Prime Minister of India.
She encouraged the students to nurture their cultural roots and make a strong connection with their cultural and national identity.
Various events such as Art competition, poetry writing competition, photography, declamation, cultural competition were organised in which the students from various schools and colleges of Udhampur enthusiastically took part.
The Vice Chairperson, who was Chief Guest of the function, distributed the prizes and trophies among the winners.
Dy. SP Dar DPL Udhampur, District Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, a galaxy of other officers and sanguine participants remained present throughout the function.
