NYK Rajouri organises Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 at Sunderbani

RAJOURI : A Fit India freedom Run 2.0 was today organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Rajouri here in Sunderbani as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration.

The Freedom Run was flagged off from Radha Krishna Mandir and culminated at ADC office.

Scores of youth from different parts of Sunderbani and adjoining areas participated in the marathon amid chanting of patriotic slogans and highlighting the benefits Fit India campaign besides the significance of Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Additional District Magistrate Vinod Kumar Benhal, Tehsildar Ravi Shankar Sharma, District Youth Officer NYK Nitin Hangloo; KK Khaki, Amarjeet Sharma and several others were present to motivate and boost the morale of the youth.

The procession was received by the Additional District Magistrate at ADC office cum ITI Complex.

The event ended with the singing of the National Anthem and taking the Fit India Pledge by the participants.

The event was coordinated by National Youth Volunteers Akshay Sharma, Smriti Sharma, Akshay Khajuria, Ekta Thakur, Varsha Singh and Safina Begum.
