Bhubaneswar: Admission into Plus II courses in various streams for the academic session 2020-21 would start from August 21, informed School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday.

The candidates need to apply online for admission into the intermediate courses through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) between August 21 and September 4. The first-phase merit list would be released on September 9.

In view of the financial crisis of people during the Covid-19 pandemic, the authorities have cut the admission fee for students of all categories.

“The Chief Minister has decided to reduce the fee for this session,” Dash said.

While the fee has been fixed Rs 100 for the ST and SC students, the students of general categories would get admission by paying only Rs 200.
