Odisha Government appointed Prof Amiya Kumar Rath as the new Vice-Chancellor of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT)

The Odisha Government on Friday appointed Prof Amiya Kumar Rath as the new Vice-Chancellor of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT).

Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, who is the Chancellor of universities, appointed Prof Rath as the VC of BPUT for a period of five years with effect from the date he assumes office as such or until further orders.

Prof Rath currently serves as the Advisor of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), headquartered in Bangalore. With 33 years of teaching experiences in academics, Prof Rath has authored nine books and successfully guided 12 PhD and 17 PG scholars.
