Odisha Matriculation Supplementary Examination results declared

Bhubaneswar: A total of 10,333 more students passed matriculation this year in Odisha when the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) declared the results of Matriculation Supplementary Examination, which were held in June.

The BSE, Odisha is perhaps the only board in the country, which gives one more

opportunity to clear the examination in the same year to the students who either could not appear or failed in the annual examination that was held in March.

Announcing the results here, BSE President Dr Jahan Ara Begum informed that 25,198 students had appeared at the Supplementary Examination out of whom only 10,333 came out successful, registering a pass percentage of 44.15.

She said the pass students can collect their certificates and mark sheets from their respective schools.

The successful students, without a break, can pursue their higher education this academic year itself as seats are still vacant in some Plus II colleges.
